Today, the sky is a soft cheek, pillow warm, visible between crumpled clouds, thin blushed capillaries. The sea is the remnants of subtle kohl shadows on hidden eyelids.
This is a city that lives under the sky and by the sea and ignores them both. They appear together only once a day, and sometimes not at all.
